About Karen

I am a licensed therapist with decades of experience helping people heal and grow.
I've worked as a medical assistant, domestic violence advocate, foster care social worker, Kindergarten-12th grade counselor, and private practice therapist.
I am a neurodivergent, queer writer, gardener, dog mom, cook, handywoman, adventurer, and homebody.
I truly enjoy hearing people's unique stories and serving as a support, optimist, and guide through this life journey.

Session details
​Sessions range from 45-55 minutes and start on the hour. Clinical assessments for diagnosis typically require two to four sessions.
Evening and Saturday appointments available.
Sessions are held via HIPAA-compliant Google Meet, and in-person sessions may be available.

Standard fees 
Fees may be adjusted situationally
Therapy/Assessment sessions —$180 weekly/$205 twice monthly (-$5 for check, Venmo, or Zelle)
Clinical Supervision — $75-$100

I provide private pay clients with superbills to assist in with health insurance claims. ​I also work with a company called Advekit that collects a fee to manage insurance claims for busy people.
